Playstation Blog Party

Brad and I went to the Playstation Blog Party at the UCF building, by the Amway Arena. There was O'Boys BarBQ to eat and video games to play. They had a few drawings for games and a PSP, I won a game called Buzz. Buzz, is a game show game for the Playstation 3, where you have hand-held buzzers that are used to answer questions. We played the game with Omar and Trinh when we got home and it is a blast. The building is the used for the UCF Masters program for video game developing so it is "nerd" heaven. They allowed us to take a tour around the building where they work and play. Brad and Omar were in heaven and didn't want to leave. We should be on the Playstation Blog soon and I will have pictures to post.

Internship

As most of you know I am in my last semester at UCF. I will graduate in December with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently doing my second internship (full time Mon-Fri) in a first grade class.
I just finished my second week and am really enjoying the experience. I started taking over the math lessons this week and I think it went well. Next week I will start the reading as well which basically means I will be fully teaching for half the day.
Wish me luck!!

Our first real vacation

Lake Tahoe: On our way to San Francisco we stopped by Lake Tahoe to see the amazing sights! It was unbelievable.
On our way to The Golden Gate Bridge Brad made me touch the Pacific Ocean and I got a little wet. I had to walk the rest of the day in my wet shoes. I was really unhappy, but by the end of the day some of my anger faded away.
We took the long route to see the wonderful sights. Along the way we stopped to take pictures at the different over looks and measure our progress.

Conservatory of Flowers

Finally!!! We made it to Golden Gate Bridge. I thought we would never make it.

Pier 39: This was my favorite part of the trip. It was really amazing to see all the wild sea lions that came to sun at the dock. We ate lunch here and had a really great view of the seals and Alcatraz

Traveling on public transportation: The city bus
On the way to Coit Tower we had to climb this really steep hill. We were so weak when we were done. The view was great and we spent about an hour there taking in the view. You could see all the way to Fisherman's Warf.
Japanese Tea Garden: I really loved this place. Everything was beautiful and peaceful. You could spend all day just relaxing.

China Town in San Francisco:
We ate at an authentic Chinese restaurant; Brad had to get an egg roll.

This is the restaurant we ate at!
San Francisco has these hearts placed around the city and Brad and I took on the mission of hugging the ones we found. This came about because of our friend Omar who has a picture from his trip hugging one of the hearts.

Brad was a good husband, he went to a midnight release for Breaking Dawn. He was one of the only guys in the book store.
